Saltonstall: My First Writing Residency

On a rainy Monday this past May, I boarded the crack-of-dawn Cornell campus-to-campus shuttle on the Upper East Side. In four hours, I would arrive at a rainy parking lot on the Cornell campus, where I’d accept a ride from Lesley Williamson, the generous executive director, to the Saltonstall Foundation. As part of the May 13-June 13, 2019 class, I would be here for 32 days.
